My Philosophy

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life."

"So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love."

Matthew 5:1-12 is commonly known as the "Beatitudes." 

In this passage, Jesus delivers a series of blessings, describing the characteristics of those who are truly blessed in the eyes of God. He emphasizes qualities such as humility, mercy, purity of heart, and peacemaking, promising heavenly rewards for those who embody these virtues despite worldly challenges and persecution.

Showing gratitude and appreciation for things we've received and encountered entails recognizing the kindness, generosity, and positive influences of others or situations in our lives. It goes beyond mere words of thanks; it involves genuinely valuing what we've been given or experienced. This attitude fosters positive relationships and encourages a mindset of abundance over scarcity.

One of the most refreshing and insightful books I’ve read in a long time is “Extreme Ownership”, by Jocko Willink and Leif Babin.  

Extreme ownership is the principle of taking full responsibility for every aspect of one's actions and outcomes. It involves owning mistakes, leading with accountability, and empowering teams to succeed. By embracing this mindset, individuals cultivate leadership, drive results, and foster a culture of ownership and excellence. 

Time is finite and irreplaceable. 

It's the currency of life, influencing success, relationships, and personal growth. Wisely managing time leads to productivity, achievement, and fulfillment, while squandering it diminishes opportunities and regrets. 

Time invested wisely yields invaluable returns.

Going against conscience weakens character and integrity, resulting in feelings of guilt and remorse. 

Adhering to ethical standards builds trust, respect, and self-esteem, fostering healthy relationships and inner satisfaction. Ultimately, you are accountable before God, making it crucial to align your moral principles with Kingdom values.

"Do What You Say You'll Do, Say What You Do" emphasizes consistency and integrity in actions and words. It means fulfilling promises and commitments, and being honest in communication. 

By aligning your actions with words, it builds trust, credibility, and reliability in your personal and professional relationships.

This seems like a pretty innate trait - so, it might go without saying, that curiosity drives exploration, innovation, and personal growth. 

Continuous learning expands knowledge, skills, and perspectives, enhancing adaptability and problem-solving abilities. It fosters creativity, resilience, and a fulfilling life journey, enabling you to thrive in an ever-changing world.

Working alongside immensely talented individuals always humbles me. 

Humility sustains perspective, gratitude, and a commitment to evolve. It fosters respect, fuels ongoing learning, and shields against arrogance. Humility forges authentic bonds and propels perpetual self-betterment, anchoring a balanced and enriching journey through the life God gives me.

Prioritizing responsibilities, managing time effectively, nurturing relationships, and attending to personal well-being are critical to sustaining a career.  

Balancing work, family, health, and leisure pursuits fosters overall fulfillment and reduces stress, promoting a satisfying lifestyle.
